I plan to limit TV and computer time, but am not sure of the particulars yet!
2. I tell my baby that I love her several times every day. Also, I think I am pretty good at introducing her to different foods. When she starts refusing I just try again another day. Praising children's work and listening to them are two very important elements of caring for kids!

- MillieFour Girlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17313222427198979273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8619580660850071992.post-8836807537107047392014-02-25T17:45:36.335-08:002014-02-25T17:45:36.335-08:00Hmm, I've got to chew on that one for a moment...Hmm, I've got to chew on that one for a moment. Wonderful post, Millie! One thing I want to do with children is truly listen to them. It's so easy to set kids' thoughts aside as invalid, but God made them to be complete people, just like us. How can we dismiss the thoughts He gives them?

As for something I'm proud of right now, I praise their handiwork. Sometimes I'm better at it than at other times, but when they show me something, I try to always find something about it to comment positively on. :)

I love your commitment to read to them, though. Words are such a huge part of my life; I want them to be a part of my children's as well.
